Films and produces work focusing on international conflict, food security, and the natural environment for clients such as PBS FRONTLINE, The Center for Investigative Reporting/Reveal, and PBS Newshour. I have reported from more than 50 countries over the past 30 years to produce a body of work that examines the impact of U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East and South Asia.

Green Girl Farms is leading the effort to build an environmentally sound and socially just food system in the communities surrounding the Port of Los Angeles. We organically grow produce on an urban farm and make it available to the community through an on-site market and local donations.

The Lost Bird Project is an art-based, environmental non-profit organization with a mission to connect people more deeply with nature. - Designed and implemented outreach, audience engagement and feature documentary film distribution for the art-based environmental non-profit organization.- Established strategic partnerships and nation-wide content distribution with National Audubon Society and Surfrider Foundation.- Managed staff, budget and payroll.

- Directed editorial video content strategy across all sections of the news organization.- Developed distribution strategy which included regional partnerships, social media, live audience engagement and digital distribution.- Successfully grew video audiences by more than four-hundred percent for the brand.- Recruited and hired full time and contract employees nationally and internationally.- Supervised a staff of 10 full-time video journalists and editors.

- Conceptualized and developed work-flow solutions for all editorial video.- Developed and implemented a video training curriculum for 650 journalists and editors across the newsroom.

Filmed and helped produce seven documentary films focusing on America's wars in Iraq and Afghanistan for FRONTLINE, the flagship public affairs series on PBS. Two of the films won the Alfred I duPont Award for Excellence in Journalism. In addition, helped produce five feature length documentary films for theatrical and broadcast.

Islamabad, Pakistan

- Provided daily news coverage, feature reports and analysis of events in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Central Asia for English radio broadcasts and language service translations.- Established and maintained a part-time news bureau under the Taliban regime in Kabul, Afghanistan.- Expanded news coverage to include full-time Urdu language broadcasts and distribution on regional FM broadcast stations in Pakistan.- Supervised bureau staff and managed regional stringers in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Central Asia.- Responsibilities included; management of bureau budget, employee payroll and bureau purchases in compliance with U.S. government regulations.

Photographed assignments for leading publications such as TIME, The New York Times, Associated Press, The San Francisco Chronicle, Paris Match, Panorama (Italy) and The Los Angeles Times. Produced radio stories for National Public Radio, the British Broadcasting Corporation and Public Radio International. Photography was represented worldwide by Gamma/Liaison Agency.
