In this day and age, where a welcoming environment is the key to student and staff success, I am a passionate academic professional who is focused on continuous improvement by promoting an organizational culture that puts "people before policy" to bring sustainable improvements in student outcomes.For me, leveraging management principles, educational best practices, and a student-centered approach gives me an opportunity to promote excellence while encouraging equity, diversity, and inclusion across all academic levels.Throughout my 30+ year career, I have spearheaded and delivered multiple instructional programs, employed robust assessment tools, and improved organizational systems to enhance efficiencies and redirect funding back to classrooms to promote equitable outcomes for students. I come equipped with proven success in building healthy learning environments and enhancing school culture for students to drive continuous improvement and accelerate academic progress. Some of the achievements during my career have included the following:- Yielded increases of 50% and 114% in high school honors course enrollments and AP test-takers (2014 to 2019) respectively by setting up a culture of high academic expectations for students.- Generated savings of $500K+ for both the Collingswood and Oaklyn school districts while optimizing service delivery for students by revamping the send-receive relationship among the two school districts.- Succeeded in passing a $4+M ‘Warm, Safe, and Dry’ bond referendum to upgrade envelope of Oaklyn school building- Succeeded in launching a district-wide mental health program for the students of the Collingswood Public Schools.
