Omnyx makes scanners and enterprise software for digitizing pathology. I lead the software department and was responsible for releases, architecture, and test. Led test-driven development and behavior-driven development initiatives. Drove the reduction of technical debt to improve predictability. Led the integration of the architecture function with agile development. Participated in code reviews for C#.NET. Led cross-function teams of developers, testers, UX experts, scientists and build engineers. Drove improvement in requirements. I lead a test department of approximately 30 people, located in Minnesota and Beijing, China. I am currently working on improving the culture of the team, defining our team goals to match our corporate goals, and reorganizing the department to clarify functions and responsibilities.
