I started on the committee to preserve Bldg 50. I contributed to the Legal language that saved the Building and the 300 acres it sits on from destruction and commercial development. This made it possible for the redevelopment of the Iconic structure into a mixed use walkable community. It is almost halfway completed. I started, hired, trained, licensed, and title X Lead (paint) abatement certified and managed the first crew of wood trim restoration and refinishing specialists,as well as was in charge of all paint and clear finishes in the restoration of The Village at Grand Traverse.
