CurrentI was brought on to support a field office of 25+ Engineers. I successfully revamped the wiring in the building from token-ring to CAT5 and implemented an MPLS network to improve IP telephony systems and network response times. I later expanded the site to three buildings using fiber optics and Cisco networking equipment to retain a 99.8% network uptime for 150+ engineers and construction support personnel. I was brought back to the home office where I was tasked with improving overall network performance. I worked with contractors to completely replace the network with a Cisco infrastructure as to increase network uptimes from 97% to 99.9%. I have also successfully improved printer performance and cost on the HP fleet by performing maintenance and repair onsite myself as opposed to using 3rd party services.
