I am a second-generation printer and have been around printing most of my life. The ability to work directly with each department in a daily newspaper has allowed me to be familiar with the whole operation. As I managed ad production and prepress, I had the ability to interact with our internal and external customers. I created many workflows to get automation into our daily throughput. Managing files before press has saved money with customer education and proper preflight. In the commercial print division, we constantly work on bringing value to our customers. Like going onsite and teaching designers the proper way to tone and handle images and offering free clip art from Metro to our education customers. Knowledge of: Puzzleflow/WebImposer, Claro, One Visions Asura, Brainworks XpanceX ad tracking, Photoshop, Kodak Newsmanager-Preps-Trendsetter-Kodak Gold and Southern Litho Viper plate, Multi-Ad-Creator, FTP desktop-Hightail-BOX, Acrobat touch up and preflighting, familiar with InDesign and Quark, Office, Agfa-Intellitune, Apple.
