Scott has over 25 years of experience supporting public and private real estate companies in the areas of finance, accounting, and consulting. He currently serves as Senior Vice President at Invitation Homes Inc. (NYSE: INVH, an S&P 500 company), where he oversees the investor relations and tax functions of the REIT and is a member of its sustainability taskforce. Before joining Invitation Homes, he was instrumental in raising a seven-digit seed round investment for an early-stage startup company based in the European Union. Prior to that, he worked at various accounting & consulting firms and publicly-traded REITs in the United States. Scott holds an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin, a BSBA from the University of Richmond, and is a certified public accountant (CPA) and an investor relations charter (IRC) holder. He is an active member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI), along with its prestigious Senior Investor Relations Roundtable, and was a contributor to NIRI's "Investor Relations Body of Knowledge, 2nd Edition," which serves as the comprehensive resource for investor relations practitioners to enhance the practice of their profession.Scott lives with his family in Dallas, Texas, where he is a parishioner at the Episcopal Church of the Incarnation and a member of The Order of St. John.
