As a small business owner, I learned the value of exemplary customer service and it reinforced my drive to continually learn new skills. An opportunity to work with investment leaders in the Single Family Residential (SFR) industry allowed me to apply my knowledge and utilize new technology based tools. After a second layoff which coincided with COVID-19, I decided to go back to the self employed world and became an All Lines Licensed Adjuster. After two years of working for the insurance companies, I obtained my Florida Public Adjuster license so that I can focus on my passion of customer advocacy and utilize my expertise in estimating to ensure the claim is settled quickly and fairly. As a Public Adjuster, I complete an inspection of the damaged property and help navigate through the client policy coverages and required deadlines, coordinate all inspections with contractors and insurance company adjusters, and attend mediation or appraisal if there is a dispute.. My additional Sales experience with a software start-up has provided me with a unique perspective into the Insurance industry. Utilizing RPA technology, the company offered a way to simplify the onsite assessment workflow, while automating other cumbersome tasks such as labeling photos or even writing basic estimate line items. The RPA workflow first lauched with a conversion offering to take a PDF back to a native ESX file format (Xactimate).
