Strathcona Park Lodge & Outdoor Education Centre (SPL) is a destination on Vancouver Island that offers tourism related products, outdoor education for youth and is home to Canadian Outdoor Leadership Training (COLT). As the marketing manager I,- Reduced the marketing budget and increased sales- Insured the Lodge kept up to the best practices online by assisting in redesigning websiteswith the focus on information architecture and the User Experience/User Interface which lead to an increase in inquiries and sales.- Created marketing campaigns from concept to completion- Involvement in local, provincial and federal tourism organizations- Managed social media channels- Photographer / Videographer- Attended local, provincial and international trade showsAs an Outdoor Instructor at SPL I,- Taught outdoor education to the general public, schools, and students attending the COLT program- Provided a safe, fun and enjoyable atmosphere for people to learn in

Inside Out Experience is based on the eastern edge of the Canadian Rockies where guests can partake in rafting trips (Kananaskis, Elbow, Bow and Red Deer Rivers) and hiking. During my time at Inside Out Experience I,- Lead rafting trips for the general public on class 3-4 rivers- Ran rafting trips for Easter Seals Camp Horizon.- Taught a 10 day raft guiding course to the local indigenous community.- Shot photos for promotional use
