This included developing an HL7 standard specific to Parkinson's Disease, and assuring the registry could store data pertinent to specialists as well as researchers for data analytics.

I worked for the State of Nebraska through a contract with the University of Nebraska. Working within the Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS), I was responsible for assisting end users of the Nebraska State Immunization Information System (NESIIS), the immunization registry for the State of Nebraska.I was also the data exchange coordinator, responsible for data exchange of health information between clients/vendors and NESIIS, helping these organizations meet Meaningful Use objectives. I managed the entire process, beginning to end, assuring users were linked to the registry correctly. Additionally, I offered some training assistance and other roles as backup to the HIT coordinator.
