"How can I help?"The reply to this question is how I begin work with partners. Over the past five years, that work has taken a variety of forms in the areas of executive coaching, strategy, talent development, and governance. Specific projects have included consulting around strategy and execution, dashboards, enrollment, and governance, and serving as an executive coach to senior leaders and chief executives.

Helping colleges and universities achieve their missions by conducting search processes that are consistent with institutional mission and values, that attract strong and diverse candidate pools, and that result in leadership hires that meet the needs of the institution moving forward. Since January 2020, I have partnered on nearly 30 searches at more than 20 colleges and universities, including 10 presidential searches and more than a dozen others at the senior level. In addition, I am engaged in the Executive Coaching practice at Academic Search. Certified by the Gallup Organization as a Certified Strengths Coach and as an Associate Certified Coach by the International Coaching Federation, I bring a variety of coaching skills and approaches to the clients I partner with.

During presidency, led College to record graduation rates, diversity of the student body, and time to degree. Pursued creative avenues to address long-term facilities needs in residence life (through new construction), music (partnership on campus), and athletics (partnership off campus). Strengthened financial health, with net asset growth of 15% and endowment growth of 45%. Secured largest estate pledge in College history, along with achieving a multi-million dollar fundraising goal for the residence hall project. College was recognized for institutional quality, access to and success of underrepresented populations, civic engagement, and environmental stewardship.In addition to service on campus, I was elected to a number of leadership roles in higher education: President of Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC), Board of Directors and Chair of Accountability Committee for National Association for Independent Colleges and Universities (NAICU), Chair of the Dominican Higher Education Consortium.

Responsible for all external relations (admissions, advancement, marketing & communications), along with athletics, financial aid, diversity and inclusion, and strategic planning in addition to serving as de facto Chief of Staff for the president. Led development and implementation of strategic and diversity plans at institutional level, resulting in increased enrollment, diversity, and student success.

Grew full-time undergraduate enrollment by over 50%, tripled racial and ethnic diversity, and financial aid has kept pace with student need without compromising the institutional operating budget. Recognized with the Noel-Levitz Marketing and Recruitment Excellence Award in 2004.In addition, I coordinated institutional research and planning, oversaw institutional marketing efforts, and oversaw a Division III athletic department that contributes to the learning experience of student-athletes, enhances campus community and pride, and publicly displays our mission and values.

Provided consulting services to help two institutions--one a Division 1 university in the Midwest, the other a small college in New England--surpass enrollment goals.

Oversaw admissions and eventually supervised athletics and financial aid. Tripled the size of freshman classes, implemented a comprehensive financial aid strategy, started football and track & field programs, and played a leadership role in both name change (from St. Francis College to University of Saint Francis) and merger with a local college of health professions.
