I take the time to determine the most pragmatic and advantageous path to financial security – for each individual or business I work with.Capitalizing on my 15+ years in the industry, as well as my background in education, I started Balance Financial because of my deep desire to guide people in their pursuit of preparing for the unexpected and planning for their future. I also enjoy educating people in the process, empowering them to make informed financial decisions – whether they’re at the beginning, middle or end of their career. You might say I put my money where my mouth is. In addition to offering financial literacy workshops for children and youth, as well as the retirement workshops for both the provincial and federal governments, I remain ahead of the curve myself in terms of professional development. I have my Responsible Investment Advisor (RIAC) certification from the Responsible Investment Association of Canada and the United Nations' PRI Academy (London, England), and am honoured to be the first advisor in Eastern Ontario to receive this designation. In addition, I am a Responsible Investment Specialist (RIS), as recognized by the Responsible Investment Association of Canada.
