Currently I am CEO of TerraSafe Materials and President of Dissolves which are companies funded by GFRP in the sustainable materials space around packaging. I launched TerraSafe for the fund and licensed all the technology (>20 patents from three universities plus two IP acquisitions from the private sector) and assisted on the acquisition of Dissolves where I am the senior officer and serve on the board.Since 2012, I have served as CEO at several technology companies I co-founded. From 2018-2022, I was CEO/cofounder of NCS which brings a technology into the spirits space here in the US and India. I also founded and served as founding CEO of Creek Water, a whiskey brand launched by noted artist Yelawolf.Prior to NCS, I founded and was CEO of Tethis which has developed a platform clean tech manufacturing technology, bringing much needed bio-based and biodegradable solutions to the world of diapers (amongst others). While I was CEO, Tethis was recognized by Entrepreneur Magazine as one of" the 100 Companies to Watch," a list that also included Amazon, Tesla, and SpaceX, as well as winning several awards in the Clean Tech world. My career has spanned everything from IP Licensing to hard tech commercialization to consumer products which has allowed me to experience many different adventures with some really talented teams. Most recently, my work also featured M&A, consumer products, celebrity and creator deals, and international expansion and business, which has led me launching several subsidiaries with outside funding with independent board of director structures where I serve on the board.All told, I've raised significant venture capital over the past ten years of experience, built multiple teams, launched several products and startups, and developed the strategy and go to market plans across several industries with global leadership experience. In addition to my work as CEO, I also advise other startups, occasionally taking a board seat, and speak at classes and other events on startups, sustainability, and other topics.
