Previous to that I was the Regional Sales Manager for the South Central Region for CREE LED Lighting. Responsible for all sales activity within the region. Drove increases in the specification and sales of LED lighting products within the region through lead generation, account management & supporting the efforts of our agents, distributors and vertical sales channel managers.Prior to that I was responsible for achieving & exceeding OEM Sales budget for the Southeast OEM & top National Account package at GE Lighting.In addition, key responsibilities included implementing GE Lighting’s strategy through the entire customer organization from Purchasing Agent to Executive level at each account. Coordinated and oversaw product & inventory requirements, developed new system opportunities & grew strategic product sales. Implemented strategic programs for NPI’s (new product introductions) for key products including LED’s, energy efficient lighting and negotiated pricing & terms with all major accounts. Additional responsibilities included coordinating the national account strategy for multi-location fixture manufacturers & growing key regional OEM accounts. Worked to close business on behalf of customers at end-users, ESCOs, contractors, distributors, agents & specifiers.
