Took over responsibility for 87 FTE technical staff, 5 FTE nursing staff, and 5 FTE support staff when previous director resigned suddenly.Managed nine modalities within the organization’s imaging services department which included both on campus as well as satellite clinics.Collaboratively worked with staff to improve employee satisfaction scores. As a result of this process, we also increased Press Ganey scores for test and treatments sections for inpatient as well as ED patient satisfaction. Responsible for $9.8 million operating budget and a $117 million gross charges budget. Software skills include Meditech Client, Medisolv, Fuji PACS, Taleo, Press Ganey, Wingspan, StrataJazz, NetLearning, KRONOS, RL Solutions, Operations Advisor, and Leader Performance System as well as Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.

In addition to oversight of PACS system, had progressive growth in management of several imaging departments to include Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT, Ultrasound, MRI, and Radiation Oncology. Eventually responsible for 23 staff and a $3.8 million operating budget and a $52 million gross charges budget.

During this time we moved forward with Strategic Plan and began to expand services to outpatient clinics, upgrade current film based systems to either CR or DR based imaging systems, and implemented a PACS system.
