I have 30 years of experience in resolving and litigating commercial and patent lawsuits for both plaintiffs and defendants. I've tried multiple-week jury and bench trials in federal court and at the International Trade Commission (ITC). I also counsel clients around business controversies, including intellectual property enforcement.In the area of intellectual property strategy, I advise clients on strategy related to PTO reviews before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) and negotiate and draft licenses to patent portfolios, sometimes in conjunction with resolving patent litigation.I particularly enjoy matters involving technology, such as high-tech electronics and computer-related patent matters that call on my electrical engineering background. I have substantial experience working with engineering experts at top universities from Massachusetts to California, and I enjoy working with my colleagues as a trial team to develop winning arguments and themes.My career has been enriched by my interaction with other attorneys and judges in professional organizations, such as the Lynn Inn of Court, and by my leadership roles in the Intellectual Property Law Sections of the State Bar of Texas and the Dallas Bar Association
