Math Teacher, Basketball Coach & Summer Camp DirectorJunipero Serra High School Aug 2001 - Feb 2006I taught Algebra 2, Algebra 2 Honors, Pre-Calculus Honors and AP Calculus AB in my nearly 6 years at Junipero Serra High School. In my three years at the Calculus level, we raised our AP Test Pass Rate from about 18% to almost 70%, an accomplishment I am very proud of for the work I and my Students put in. As the Summer Camp Director, I inherited a program that had seen a significant decline in enrollment. Within a year we had the enrollment back to its capacity and kept it at or above 95% capacity for the three summers I was the Director. During that time I managed an approximately $150,000 budget and coordinate payroll, ordered food and equipment for the summer, led training sessions and oversaw all aspects of the day-to-day camp operations.
