I lead with empathy and with a clear goal in mind; this framework guides my decisions and strategies.Initially a respiratory therapist, I began my career in healthcare on the frontlines of the sector. Throughout my career, I’ve seen the industry take on unprecedented challenges, from new regulations and their compliance with cybersecurity practices to shifting payment models. What has remained constant is the focus on patient care and affecting positive outcomes. I endeavor to further these initiatives through my work as a health system executive. Capitalizing on the enormous need for employers to ensure the health and well-being of their workforces, I conceptualized Sterling Medical, an employer-owned healthcare system. This unique model that I created enables employers to provide their employees access to high-quality, reliable healthcare at a reduced cost. Both employers and employees benefit when the workforce is healthy and productive.
