Scott is a partner in KPMG’s Bay Area Alternative Investment Practice. Based in San Francisco, he leads the Bay Area venture capital practice and specializes in the audits of venture capital, private equity and fund of funds clients and the investment advisors that sponsor them. He also leads corporate citizenship efforts for the San Francisco market.Scott is a member of the the AICPA PE/VC Task Force that authored the accounting and valuation guide titled Valuation of Portfolio Company Investments of Venture Capital and Private Equity Funds and Other Investment Companies.
