Scott Davis is Director of Land Acquisition and Development for Hakes Brothers Homebuilders in Albuquerque, NM. Prior to that he was President of Location Strategy, LLC, Texas' most active real estate consulting firm. In his nearly 30 year real estate career, Scott has consistently produced strategic real estate advice his clients could rely on. After Hurricane Harvey, Scott was asked to testify before the Texas state legislature on the financial health of municipal utility districts after the storm. He participated in the Houston Strong effort that secured voter approval of $2.5 billion in bonds for flood control. Scott was also a consultant to the government of New Zealand on development processes and housing affordability. He was a Senior Vice President with Meyers Research and a Regional Director with Metrostudy, has sold more than 3,900 acres for single family and retail development, been recognized as a top producer in the Houston and Eastern US Regions at CBRE, received the “Land Deal of the Year” award from the Houston Business Journal, performed more than 400 studies for new development projects in the state of Texas, and was nominated as Global Business Director of the Year by NAI Global for his leadership in commercial real estate. He has also written two books about the role of the Millennial generation in changing the workplace and faith communities.Scott is a graduate of the University of Texas, where he received a BA in liberal arts in the Plan II Honors Program and an MS in community and regional planning, and is a licensed Texas real estate broker.
