I attended the George Washington University Law Center in Washington, DC, where I earned my Juris Doctorate. While attending George Washington I interned with both the Army JAG Procurement Fraud Division and the Office of the Chief Attorney for the Department of the Army.After graduating from law school I took interest and expertise in construction and government contracts into private practice. Over the years I have represented contractors, subcontractors, owners, sureties, design professionals and insurance companies in matters before state and federal courts. I have also represented clients before mediators, arbitrators and administrative agencies. These engagements have ranged from simple matters to complex litigation that reached into the tens of millions of dollars.I am admitted to the bar in the Commonwealths of Pennsylvania and Virginia, the States of Maryland and New Jersey and in the District of Columbia.Primary areas of practice: Construction litigation, complex commercial litigation, contract formation and administration, commercial leasing, real estate, surety law, business formation.I founded Hofer Law, LLC in March 2018 to insure I could provide the very best legal service and advice to my new and existing clients.
