InterActiv Learning provides staff development programs, graduate courses through Aurora University, and comprehensive technology management for K-12 schools. Our staff development and graduate course programs include Google Apps for Education, iPads in the classroom, and creative lesson design with the SAMR model. We also work with small schools to design and support their network infrastructure and develop technology integration plans. InterActiv Learning also hosts the InterActiv Conference each June.

I currently manage all technology for the Burlington Area School District. We currently have over 3000 devices, including desktops, laptops, chromebooks and iPads. Our schools are fully wireless, with access in every learning space in each building. The network is connected via a fiber optic backbone to Wiscnet's high speed network. I specialize in designing these systems with students and teachers in mind. As education evolves and changes, we must be sure that the technology not only supports, but creates opportunities for our educators and students to learn and thrive.

I design and teach technology classes to teachers and administrators. My focus is on working with teachers to better prepare them to create lessons that truly integrate technology into their classrooms. My current focus is on best practices using iPads and Chromebooks in education. My courses are always changing, with new projects, apps and ideas being explored.
