• Developed and delivered some of the most difficult to produce IT courses for Agfa Healthcare technical training department. Lead course developer and trainer for these products:o Web1000 - web server cluster for thousands of radiologists and clinical users. o SMMS - Network server monitoring, asset management, software updating and reporting. o Cardiology PACS (Picture Archive and communication System) cluster - established the formal training curriculum. Based on Windows servers with Oracle DB and active directory domain. Included integration with Unix servers using samba software.o IMPAX - Agfa enterprise PACS for radiology combining web, DB, application, archive and load balancing servers running Solaris, Windows and Linux.o Others - Linux PACS (easyvis), Vmware ESX, Drystar X ray Film printers, etc.• Delivered classes in Southern California but also other locations including Mexico (in Spanish). • Managed the Santa Ana Training Center – 24 workstations, a lab and a server room (40).• Setup the first company Internet training program for students. Developed the on-line training material and server side programming to complete the project including connections to virtual keypads and interfaces with physical training equipment. In production for about 5 years. • Developed student survey website with additional automated follow up surveys sent 3 months after completing training. Technologies used were Linux, apache, mysql, sendmail, perl and bash. In production for 8 years on the Internet with no security breaches. • Top evaluations at Agfa. Twice awarded "Field Engineer of the Year" and recognized for "Outstanding Performance, Contribution and Dedication.”
