Scott is the Senior Vice President of Metropolitan Capital and a leader in both commercial and investment banking activites for the organization. Scott has been involved with Metropolitan Capital since 2010 where he started his career with the firm in its’ Chicago (headquarters) office with responsibilities within the Commercial Banking and Investment Banking teams. Following three years in Chicago, Scott moved east to join New York-based investment advisory firm Gerstein Fisher (2016 Barron’s Top 15 Independent Wealth Advisors). In 2014 Scott rejoined Metropolitan Capital to help open the firm’s West Region office based in San Francisco. In 2017 Scott moved to Los Angeles to establish the firm’s office in Southern California.Scott’s responsibilities include business development (across all company verticals: Private Banking, Commercial Banking, Investment Banking, Wealth Consulting & Corporate Advisory), client acquisition, deal structuring, investor relations, supervising the underwriting & approval process, deal execution, and ongoing relationship management. He also collaborates directly with the organization’s senior leadership and Board of Directors on client related solutions, business development activities, growth strategy and other strategic initiatives such as the firm-wide implementation of technology-enabled sales tools. He received his B.A. in Finance from The Richard T. Farmer School of Business at Miami University.
