RESPONSIBILITIES:Managing the clients expectations and communicating needs to the project team.Managing scope internally (with the project team) and externally (with the client).Managing resource assignments and utilization for all assigned resources. Design, integration, installation, and support of manufacturing lines, control systems. This includes new installations and existing equipment/system upgrades. Design, program, and troubleshoot Omron, Schneider, Fanuc, ABB, Siemens and Rockwell Automation’s family of PLC’s, HMI', Servo's and variable frequency drives, robotic controls. Interface with Production/Engineering personnel at all levels related to projects. Manage 3rd party engineering partners in the installation, commissioning, and start-up of capital projects. Technical writing for equipment specifications and operating and installation procedures. Writing of technical reports and schematics to describe and illustrate system operating characteristics and functionality. Work with Maintenance personnel to assist in troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment, control systems.

The ME is responsible for managing the electrical installation and ensuring all work is performed by qualified personnel to current standards. The ME makes sure all health and safety requirements are met, permits and inspections are in place. In short is responsible for all work and personnel under his supervision.

As an automation specialist I am in charge of control system review and preliminary design. Once cad drawings are completed parts must be ordered to customer specifications. I supervise the panel building by one of our crew members; write the PLC/Servo/Robot/Touch-screen programs for the custom equipment, Supervise the installation and commision the cell.
