In the first year of full operation the initiative provided debt financing totaling over $250 million in industries such as electric aircraft manufacturing, long duration energy storage, and direct lithium extraction• Implemented EXIM's 5G policy, which led to EXIM's ability to support 5G transactions in foreign markets with extremely low levels of U.S. content, conditional on the exporter providing EXIM a plan to support U.S. jobs in the medium-term. Ultimately this lead to EXIM's inaugural 5G transaction, with $300 million transaction supporting trusted vendor technology deployment in India.
