Contracted with IBM through Analysts International, this was to work with the application owners and IT Staff on Infrastructure Consolidation Project. This was done through consolidation methodology, and best practices to limit end user impact. The first phase of the project was to moving the applications from an Enterprise Novell environment to an Enterprise Windows environment. The second phase was to consolidate the new acquisition (Bank South in New Orleans) Active Directory Forest with the parent company (Capital One in Virginia) infrastructure. Several tasks were designed and developed to create a custom application remediation process to support current and future acquisitions. Determine the complexity and scope of the overall application remediation and migration effort. Identify applications that utilize LDAP or Active Directory and identify which applications will need to be remediated.
