Hello World!My name is Scott Cordier, and I have many years of experience in various types of project management, which have evolved through quality assurance and design engineering. My most recent role at Applied Materials sharpened my competencies in problem-solving and meticulous attention to detail while thriving in a complex environment. Reflecting back to college, I have always tried honing these skills, ensuring that all project metrics are met with precision. Moving forward, below are a few selected accomplishments, many of which were driven by my internal desire for continuous improvements. Other accomplishments helped reinforce the importance of good communication, trust, customer service, and the iron triangle of project management and improved opportunities for more business!• Created professional PCN presentations (a.k.a. White Papers) using Siemens Teamcenter & NX weekly, then leveraged excellent presentation skills to Intel customer for their approval• Successfully led cross-functional teams using Agile methodology with SDLC while creating new applications for the SAP (ERP) system.• Sprints occurred twice a week, and the Confluence collaboration application was utilized with effective written and verbal communication during all stages of SDLC• Oversaw the offshore team during the creation of >40 instruction manuals for building products that led to the receipt of the SOTY award (Supplier Of The Year award)• Designed complex gas systems for dielectrics with exceptionally accurate BOMs, which led me to become the Lead Design Engineer in dielectrics• During slow markets, I drove many improvements for Supply Chain that improved efficiencies, quality, and cost• Developed a VBA utility in Excel that improved productivity by 95% and grew to be used company-wide (US and Singapore)!• Developed a VBA utility in Excel that improved the productivity of all Project Managers by 25%• Developed a VBA utility for AutoCAD that improved productivity by 88% which simplified GD&T• Drove the training initiative (functional specification and classes) for all employees using the new software called CellFusion.• Being the SME for multiple popular products requires good communication skills.
