I'm a graduate of the University of Dayton where I earned a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. There I gained experience in class and co-ops, but also communicating with customers. Through my capstone design projects, My team worked with real customers to meet their needs and expectations. Through our project with Cincinnati Children's hospital; my team are the documented inventors of our design that was then funded by the hospital. Since a kid I've been fascinated with how products are designed and produced. I strive to use this passion for design and innovation into my career where I am currently a Design Engineer. I use this passion to improve each design and make a better end product for the customer.I hope to continue this goal of improvement to further my career as an engineer and focus more on design and product development. My experience in Manufacturing has helped me understand how to not only make a functioning design, but a cost effective product that is designed for assembly. I plan on building my skills and furthering my career as a Mechanical Engineer by continuously learning new processes and building relationships in my field.
