In this role, as well as managing the support desk, I am concentrating more on security at Oninit Consulting Ltd. OCL is an IBM Premier Business Partner and one of the leading IBM database consulting firms in the UK, providing expertise on high-performance enterprise database systems.My responsibilities include ensuring both our customer and our own data is as safe and secure as possible, developing and managing the call logging software, managing support staff, workloads and customer relationships, and producing reports on support desk load, security, quality and performance. I have also been hands on as technical lead in a number of high profile accounts, including well-known names in the retail, manufacturing and online gaming industries. We adhere to ISO 27001, and my role includes making sure we're prepared for our annual audits, as well ensuring our work is GDPR compliant.

I have also been hands on as technical lead in a number of high profile accounts, including well-known names in the retail, manufacturing and online gaming industries.I have been very involved in cyber security, leading projects to achieve and maintain the ISO 27001 information security standard, making sure the company is and remains GDPR compliant, and improving the way we deal with customers and their own security needs. I attend regular management review meetings as part of my CISO role.

My duties included maintaining and upgrading the hardware and software, writing specifications, coding, database administration, and managing the software delivery lifecycle. I also managed a platform migration from SCO to Linux, and later on to a virtual platform.
