Technology has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I'm very technically minded, but like to approach problem with an open mind and holistic view.I have been working with database servers since 1995 in a variety of industries and many roles from analyst/programmer, to DBA to development and support leads.My main skills are: Informix: all database servers from SE through to the latest 12.10, Informix SQL/4gl, Genero, Perl, Unix & Linux. I also have skills in IBM DB2 and Netezza, and have APM and CISMP qualifications.I have acquired valuable skills working as the technical support manager at Oninit. Overseeing the administration of the support desk, I am key in improving the quality and efficiency of the customer support delivery, overhauling the call logging software and other internal system, defining and documenting procedures and creating new management reports.Over the last year I have worked extensively as Chief Information Security Officer at Oninit to achieve ISO 27001 certification for them, and am continuing on in the security role to ensure the standard is maintained, including ensuring the company is GDPR complaint.
