Site Engineer for a Main Contractor across several Commercial & Residential projects in the Midlands. Responsibilities include:- Setting Out and Surveying of Groundworks & Earthworks, Drainage, Sub & Super structure, performing Topographical and As-Built surveys, Car Park/Small Road construction- Quality control by managing and implementing Quality Assurance systems- Supervising multiple disciplines in the Frame Construction, Fitting Out, Groundworks and ensuring works are completed to a high standard in a safe and timely manner- Assisting & liaising with the Site Management team- Coordinating with Contractors, Architects, Civil & Structural Engineers ensuring correct information is available for construction.

Notable Experiences:My time in Sierra Leone was during the Ebola Epidemic where the British Army formulated a specialist team to oversee the design and construction of 6 Treatment centres. I was selected by my regiment to be attached to the ‘Specialist Team Royal Engineers’ to go over to Sierra Leone on Operation Gritrock. The team I was involved with took control of a treatment centre in Goderich, Freetown. A land survey was performed on the proposed site, then a design was created based on the client’s (Emergency.it) needs. I have used my initiative in problem solving and experience from my time as a Semi-Skilled Construction Worker to overcome problematic areas of the project.
