Distribution Channel Manager for SMA. Managing Strategies and Programs to grow Sales with and through Distribution.

Managing government contracts for the Protective Marine Coatings business Unit. Working with the PMC and Architectural Finishes sales force to grow government business. Focused on Department of Defense opportunities including Navy, Army, Coast Guard etc.

A full service janitorial supply distributor, I was accountable for all sales related activities including: sales training, territory alignment, vendor program management, marketing programs, key account sales, literature development and more. I had created several programs designed to increase sales volume, but met some resistance to the necessary.

I enjoyed a 12 year career with JD. Started selling on the street with and through distribution, and after several promotions, ended up managing a sales team of 14 covering 5 states around lake Michigan. I managed 2 brands, corporate accounts,and the 2 of the top 10 distributors in the country. I enjoyed a tour as a corporate trainer, key account sales.

• Hand picked to integrate newly created unit into reorganized Navy Operations Logistics Support Command. Created Reserve unit mission statement, individual goals, and training plans that maximized productivity gains for.
• Directly responsible for 3 major logistics exercises and over 20 assists during 3 year tour. Training Officer – Navy Inventory Control Point – Chicago IL 1998-2000
