Reported directly to CEO and held a pivotal position due to consistently exceeding sales target. Was asked to take on an individual contributor sales role and was responsible for meeting/exceeding established program sales and market share targets, selling imaging products to GPOs, IDNs, strategic healthcare systems, and the federal government. As an individual contributor closed the largest one-time deal in company history (3-year, $24MM) with USAMMA, then won repeat business with $28MM contract, beating out GE, Philips, and Siemens in a 6-week, head-to-head clinical and field trial. The total length of the sales cycle for this contract was 2 years. Marquee clients included Medtronic, Brainlab, Stryker, Karl Storz, and USAMMA/DOD (secured first federal government contract for the company). Worked with R&D on product modifications to meet ISO Shelter MASH units field specs for USAMMA. Won contract with FEMA. Secured contracts with group purchasing organizations Healthtrust, Premier, and Amerinet, while working on MedAssets, Broadlane, and Novation. Managed product solutions development and integration with OEMs and surgeons, facilitating technological advances to deliver improvements in patient care. The key driver in developing customized service/Biomed training for each national account.
