• Key participant in Wi-Fi/Bluetooth integration effort on Ford Sync (infotainment system) architecture. Authored test requirements/plans and resolved all wireless technical issues with external teams.• Performed testing/analysis on Wi-Fi network deployed along assembly line using enterprise-grade Cisco Wi-Fi routers and wireless sniffer tools. Goals were to maximize overall Wi-Fi bandwidth and minimize roaming times.

• Worked closely with strategic customers, customers’ ODMs, internal Sales, Marketing, and Engineering teams to successfully support launch of three smartphones and two PDA’s. • Supported Devicescape CCXv4 integration with Marvell 88W8686 Windows Mobile 6.0 driver. CCXv4 certification completed successfully at AppLabs. • Technical lead in supporting wireless storage device which incorporated Marvell PXA300 processor and 88W8686 Wi-Fi chip (coexisting with CSR Bluetooth chip). • Supported customers to integrate 88W8688 (Wi-Fi/Bluetooth combo) chipset to WinCE6.0/Linux software releases incorporating mobile Wi-Fi hotspot.

• Supported customers in refining their draft 802.11n products for better performance and interoperability. Activities included testing, replicating bugs, debugging software issues, tracking issues, collaborating with HW Apps and Software Development teams to improve hardware solution and resolve critical bugs.• Worked on prototype Wi-Fi/Bluetooth combo module which enabled strategic customers to start early software development/integration – prior to new silicon coming out. Tested WLAN/BT coexistence and performance. • Provided pre/post-sales support to strategic customers. Debugged WLAN driver and applications. Collaborated with Software/Hardware/Test Engineering groups as necessary. Authored application notes. • Supported customers in integrating Wi-Fi radios to network processors, access points, residential gateways, laptops, printers, and VOIP phones.
