I was born and raised in small town Nova Scotia, Canada, where I was taught that diligence, honesty, and being polite, are the cornerstones of success. This led me to a 10 year career in hospitality, customer service, and management. But my need to expand my business understanding pushed me to do more. I believe we need to find a balance between life and work, and that both deserve a healthy dose of innovation and creativity. While I take a detailed approach to work and personal projects, innovation is needed for problem diagnosis and providing practical solutions. One such solution I needed, was to grow further in my career. This required formal training, so I attended triOS College for Payroll Administration & Accounting. During my studies I was able to polish my skills in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, customer service, team building, management, and leadership.The culmination is a results oriented mindset, with a unique blend of accounting education, coupled with 10 years of experience in customer service and hospitality management.
