Responsible for the transition of the groups acquisition in Singapore called Smartag www.smartag.com.sg from an operational and sales and marketing perspective.As a Director of the Company I also recently took over the Sales and Marketing responsibillity for APAC and EMEA with Smartag's Sister Company Tagstar based in Munich www.tagstar-systems.com. Both companies are involved in the manufacturing of Contactless (RFID) Smart Labels used in the production of tickets for ski fields and transportation, automated library systems, phrama and authentication applications, NFC applications through Smart Phones and many other applications.Smartag recently relocated production within Singapore which was a major effort running clean room production with approximately 50 staff.

An extension of previous transition role of Smartag into global Group - the Transponder Division! Comprises of Tagstar Munich, ACiG France and Smartag along with ACiG USA rebranded Identive.

My start-up's with a few different share holders along the way such - a software developer, a physical security expert and Cutting Edge - a post production company for film and television - a Brisbane icon company.My web background stems back to a Web focused management course and Princeton University in 1998 - that was the start of it! From there it just grew and grew and several web sites later and an active involvement in the Identity Management and Security Industry Fastcards was formed which is today www.multicard.com.au . The company uses the Internet to facilitate Identity management and supports the Maritime Security ID Card in Australia www.msic.com.au through to issuance and management of fuel cards.Sunshine Technologies and id-DNA were the solutions companies for RFID. We sold RFID readers for logical access to Centrelink, built remote web based management solutions for QTQ 9 remote cameras, supported QANTAS with cards, purpose built Fuel Card Payment systems for large Independent fuel retailers, readers and software and deployed an Inventory Management solution for BHP.

A start-up from the tech boom thjrough the German owner with me having an equity stake - a total transformation of industries and steep learning curve - I survived and excelled! I went on to grow the business organicly and we acquired Bar Code Data Systems in Sydney of which I ended uf being the Managing Director. Also a great learning curve for mobile applications, wireless, software applications and data capture innovation. A great base from which to start Fastcards and Sunshine Technologies! Yes - I had to start 2 companies and then later a joint venture with Gribbles Molecular Science called id-DNA - we developed and patented the storage of DNA on chip!

I took on the position when the wall came down based out of Switzerland and establishing sales and distribution structures throughout CE. I left a great bunch of people behind who are all now successful operators based all around the world, a factory in Poland and a business of $13 million!
