In 2012, I began challenging myself on how I could positively impact my local community. I identified that marketing students need practical vocational experience, and that small Cause Driven Businesses (CDBs) struggle to communicate their social benefit due to a lack of marketing resources.From this thinking Market Social was born. Market Social inspires passionate marketing students to use their vocational skills to help CDBs through partnerships, helping students and CDBs connect, discover and create.

I met with ministry area leaders and creative teams to collaborate and advise on marketing ideas for Riverview initiatives. I also oversaw the communications strategy for all events across multiple communications platforms (such as news feeds, publications, videos, digital media, live announcements etc.). I also managed the church’s social media accounts and website.

During my time with imageseven, I held five positions, lived in two states and worked with 68 clients across Education, B2B and Not-for-Profit industries. Between April and October 2013, I was based in Sydney contracting full-time to The Scots College, arguably Australia’s most prestigious boys’ school. I was responsible for a wide range of marketing communication initiatives ranging from emails through to yearbooks. While a varied role, my specialty was ‘all things digital’.
