• Coordinated with Citadel to host Berkeley's first Datathon - a data science based hackathon with $25,000 in prizes and hundreds of applicants. Led a team that mapped efficiency of different Bay Area Rapid Transit stations using the Uber API and a proprietary dataset.• Directed project with SF based hedge fund Snow Ventures building a multi-stage model to identify companies with correlated implied volatility time series, then predict the magnitude of future implied volatility changes.• Managed team that implemented tools designed for the portfolio management group and the club fund, back-tested trading strategies and forecasted metrics to facilitate investment decisions.• Ran weekly meetings to teach software/finance skills and facilitate ongoing work (led team of 7 programmers in 12-week project).

• Studied signal processing theory and electrical circuit engineering for 12 weeks. Designed and built an EEG (Electroencephalogram) headset and noise-filter circuit to allow brainwave scanning. Used multiple techniques such as bandwidth-narrowing and signal-averaging to process.• Used an Arduino controller and RESTful API to construct an EEG to Python pipeline (Brain-Computer interface). The BCI included bio-feedback for blinking and muscle clenching. Used this pipeline and Javascript to implement a game of Pinball that is played by clenching each fist.

• Programmed a two-step authentication secure communications web app, using Python/HTML/Javascript, to be used by Europe's leading electronics retailer in almost 1300 UK stores.}• Drove all phases of enterprise integration for the app while working alongside stack developers and security architects.
