NT 3.51 to 4.0 migration admin for 12000 machines over year and a halfCost Savings Achieved: Cross-departmental oversite did not exist regarding projects, and upon my inspection, Y2K hard drive issues (Quantum Bigfoot hard drive not taking NT Image), Memory upgrade issues (Systems Req Min 128k Ram), 4 digit date BIOS check projects, as well as other projects could all be run concurrently as my roll-out project executed. My team tagged all machines with identified issues, as we serviced them during the roll-out, accomplishing 6 projects at once. Other projects were significantly impacted as the machines impacted were flagged for relevant issues and could be directly targeted for their project impacts without the need to search them out.
