Executed the Chef "knife" command-line tool to allow interfacing between the Chef server and the local chef repository to manage nodes, recipes, cookbooks, roles, stores of JSON data and provisioning. Used Chef & Kubernetes to both orchestrate and automate the deployment of application containers across clusters of hosts providing a container-eccentric infrastructure. Implemented and configured a Cassandra NoSQL database infrastructure that offered linear scalability and fault-tolerance access to mission critical data. Defined, configured and activated a new private cloud network infrastructure to host new hardware and a state of the art software application stack for a redesigned corporate website. Implemented additional configurations within Cisco and Juniper security appliances using Cisco ASA/IOS and Juniper JunOS to apply specific firewall rules, which provided integration and security with the current LAN's and WAN.
