Provided management and leadership of Merrick’s national Infrastructure Practice which includes planning and design services associated with water resources, transportation, civil site engineering, Surveying, Geospatial, mapping & GIS as well as renewable energy projects for private, municipal and federal clients.

As the national leader of ARCADIS’ Renewable Energy Practice, Stone led the firm's strategy and execution of engineering, permitting, and program management services primarily focused on solar, wind, and biomass projects. Stone also served as national manager of the firm's Land Resources Practice, which included Site Civil Engineering, Land Planning, Surveying, GIS, and Buildings (architecture, interior design, mechanical, electrical, and structural engineering) services, Stone directs all aspects of the business. ARCADIS’ US Land Resources Practice includes approximately 400 people and revenues of $45M. ARCADIS is ranked as one of the top 20 firms in the United States, and ranks as the 12th largest A/E firm globally.Prior to his national appointments, Stone served in a variety of local and regional operational and business development roles at ARCADIS including leading its Charlotte operation - which grew from a start-up operation to a 65-person group in less than four years.
