Director over all NPD engineering, project management, test labs, thermal modeling and design. Brought on board to Lifoam as the technical expert for the cold chain industry. Areas of responsibility: - Technical aspects of new product development, including the test lab and customer projects- Launched the Center of Excellence test lab in Belcamp MD- Developed innovation pipeline, including advancements in PUR, VIP and 5C PCM- Update design methodology utilizing thermal modeling and chamber testing

Managed the protective packaging team for all Kenmore/Craftsman/DieHard products within Sears Holdings, including management of an internal ISTA-certified test lab. Primary focus:- Supplier bid process (RFP, line reviews, scorecards)- 3rd party lab management (audits, certifications, training)- Specification development for unique distribution system- Tollgate launch process for NPD- Innovation in packaging materials and testing methodology- Damage reporting metrics -> financial impact of decisions- Presented at international conferences

Expanded knowledge into the protective packaging industry. Learned critical skills in vendor management as the packaging manager for Kenmore and Craftsman products. Worked directly with international suppliers to improve the cost, performance and sustainability of their packaging systems. Developed custom package testing specifications and monitored damage data to improve customer experiences and improve bottom line revenue numbers for KCD. Certified 3rd party testing labs to increase capacity without capital budget constraints.

Built a brand new thermal test lab for ThermoSafe in the Chicago suburbs, and acted as Engineering Manager for the group of engineers and technicians. Focused heavily on introducing new technology, including thermal modeling, into our design methodology for customers.
