Directed a team of 5 finance professionals in the company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes for CHEP Americas. Responsibilities included:• Development, coordination, and preparation of the $1.3 billion annual operating and strategic plans.• Served as the liaison between CHEP Americas and corporate management, providing standard corporate reporting as well as ad hoc analysis support.• Conducted forecast reviews with executive management on a weekly basis.• Prepared quarterly in-depth P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow forecasts.• Oversaw the monthly financial reporting process for CHEP USA and CHEP Americas.• Prepared the Brambles Board presentations for executive management.• Participated in the revenue and supply plan review meetings with sales, operations and finance executives.

Managed a team of 6 professionals to ensure the overall control of $80M in inventory for the Healthcare Products Division. In addition, responsibilities included analyzing shrink adjustments, calculating purchase price variances, and analyzing damage and obsolete inventory adjustments. Accomplishments included:* Prepared the annual operating plan for the $80M inventory balances and corresponding reserves. Tracked the division’s performance throughout the year and prepared monthly forecasts.* Acted as the business lead for the implementation of the Inventory Management Module of SAP. Redesigned the inventory management process, configured the SAP Inventory Module, and conducted training sessions.* Managed the sale of PAAS finished goods to Signature Brands, the purchase of Bain de Soleil finished goods from Pfizer, and the sale of St. Joseph’s inventory to McNeil.* Reduced the inventory shrink during 5 physical inventories from $1.5M in 1999 to $0.2M in 2001.

Advised the Director of Distribution and the VP of Logistics on financial results and issues related to logistic operations. My responsibilities also included:* Preparing the annual $25M operating plan for the Logistics Organization. Developed a model to determine the monthly staffing requirements for the Memphis distribution center. * Prepared a post completion analysis of the $15M sortation system installed at the Memphis facility.* Served as the finance representative for the management team during the 1999 Memphis union negotiations. Prepared numerous strategic proposals, developed an extensive model to calculate the individual costs of each proposal, and advised operation's management on the feasibility of each proposal. Prepared a proposal to offer early retirement packages to union employees that effectively reduced the union population by 25%.

Developed the overall audit program at Greenfield Industries, and semi-annually presented the audit program and audit findings to the Board of Directors. Evaluated and improved financial systems, policies, procedures, and operational processes. Redesigned the cash management structure throughout Greenfield, reducing bank service fees by $120k/year. Selected a single corporate charge card for travel expenses and managed the implementation of 400 cards.
