Manage hospital IT operations, maintenance, and strategic growth of IT and Clinical Systems at fourteen hospitals in Texas, Missouri and Tennessee. P&L responsibility for $14m annual operating budget for the region. Manage 170 person team providing ITIL service delivery for IT infrastructure and applications at these locations.

Took on progressively increasing responsibility to not only IT related functions in the hospital, but also facilitated solutions for better communications and processes between all hospital departments. * Project manager for hospital wide core clinical systems implementation of Cerner Millennium. * Led Clinical Process Improvement Committee meetings, CPIC * Facilitated organizational changes to scheduling by modifying to a centralized model * Managed a complex relationship to interface a competitive vendor’s PowerPath system to our new Millennium PathNet system * Led a group to automate inventory management IMMS and auto billing in OR SurgiNet * Oversaw Laboratory, Radiology, Cardiology, Orders, Scheduling, and Clinical Documentation in the OR implementations with three successful Integration Phases and successful Go-Lives for each area * Oversaw HIPAA compliance with all information systems and procedures. * Managed all information systems and biomedical systems in the opening of a new 60,000 sq ft hospital tower. * Responsible for all day to day management of client account with the hospital including budgets, staffing, compliance, meeting service level standards and forecasting for new capital projects. * Programmed and implemented many ASP.Net applications to help with process and procedure flow touching all areas of the hospital, including scheduling systems, order communication systems, dietary systems and bed tracking systems. * Strict budget adherence along with both short term and long range capital forecasting.
