Conceived, designed, developed and directed the University's Educational Technology Center's Instructional Media Services Department.Planned, directed and coordinated the activities, services and workflow of the Educational Technology Center’s Media Services.Established, developed and maintained relationships with faculty, staff and students to ensure 100% client satisfaction and delivered services.Hired, supervised and trained teams of 4-20 people for graphic design, instructional design, web development, media production and faculty training. Empowered faculty to deliver impactful, meaningful content that they used in online, face-to-face and blended courses through training, consultation, course development and multimedia production.I successfully led multiple teams and projects at MSU Denver that included online and face-to-face training, university wide training programs, campus events, course development, media production and consultation.I supervised students and full-time staff and prepared them for their future careers through supervising, mentoring, coaching and leading them to be be successful in their pursuit of knowledge and life-long learning.I fulfilled many roles and led multiple teams as project manager, instructional designer, technical communicator, trainer, leader, mentor, media producer and director. I worked with various departments and produced multimedia projects that were used in marketing, grants, courses (internally and nationally), promotion and community awareness. Many of these resulted in national awards, international presentations, additional funding for grants and national and international recognition of programs.I created a department that allowed faculty and staff to develop podcasts, create videos, stream media and engage their students in technology.

Multimedia Journalism I | Affiliate Faculty -Journalism I conceived, designed, developed and taught this course to introduce students to the fundamentals of multimedia storytelling. The course covered telling stories with audio, telling stories with audio and still images and telling stories with video (DSLR, mobile phones, video camera, etc.). Students learned to incorporate the various types of shots and sounds to shape a story. I incorporated and trained students on how to use Adobe Creative Cloud to package the story.

I developed several institutional training programs including: New Student Orientation (online for new and transferring students) ADA Training (online for all new hires) Learning to Teach with the Learning Management System (LMS)I worked with faculty and team members to develop online courses (all disciplines) as an Instructional Designer, Project Manager, Project Lead, Coach and Consultant.I photographed faculty for their online courses, professional presentations and websites.I hired and managed development and training teams that worked with faculty to produced websites, instructional material and training programs.I expanded the media services to include: Live streaming events Lecture capture Captioning media Incorporating media into online courses Digitizing media for cd-rom, streaming, video-on-demand, dvds Setup a sound booth for faculty to record audio for podcasts Worked with Apple to bring iTunes to campus so faculty to have an online presence for their podcasts Taught workshops on recording audio and producing podcasts
