Led a cloud hosting modernization initiative to migrate 50 hosted clients from legacy VM-based hosting services for a thick-client Windows ERP product to Microsoft Azure Cloud, leveraging the latest offerings from Azure Virtual Desktop and delivering a more stable, secure and scalable solution for the end client. Achievements include:Led a critically important “speed to market” work stream as part of the multi-million pound procurement, integration and implementation of an advanced insurance sales platform. This resulted in the launch of the platform one year ahead of original projections, enabling the business to realise business case benefit sooner and reduced the cost to deliver.Pioneered the use of Agile Scrum delivery within the Insurance & Wealth Division, recruited and trained a Scrum team, defined and implemented a new business change process, and within 6 months had delivered a 70% uplift in change throughput into the Home Insurance business. The Scrum team blueprint was replicated 17 times to cover the whole breadth of the Division’s change delivery function, enabling the rapid transition to Agile delivery methodology across the £400m annual change portfolio.Designed and delivered the Smartphone and Tablet device strategy for Home Insurance Sales, ensuring General Insurance division remains competitive within the e-commerce space and closely integrated with wider Group Digital multi-device strategy. Comparison for domestic energy, business utilities and broadband were delivered in time to take advantage of a £1.2m Group marketing investment and tie in with a larger Lloyds TSB Group marketing campaign;Overhauled the online customer journey and increased information transfer accuracy of the sales channel directly resulting in the channel being named “Best Car Insurance Comparison Site” by Defaqto - October 2008. Ranked No 1 out of 50+ competitors (including market leaders Moneysupermarket.com, Gocompare.com and Confused.com);Achieved a 60% increase in product exposure within the marketplace by project managing, from concept to launch, a web based solution into the home insurance sales channel, enabling modern and fast B2B transactions between Lloyds TSB and third party price comparison websites. This resulted in a sales performance increase to 140% of budget by year end, significantly adding to the bottom line for the division;Co-ordinated several key accessibility related website changes simultaneously with other e-commerce projects, allowing both comparison websites to become the first comparison sites in the market to hit “AA” W3C accessibility standards.
