I am a professional writer, musician, interdisciplinary artist and arts & culture strategist specializing in creative practice and arts management. After graduating from The University of North Texas in 2011 earning a Bachelor’s of Arts & Sciences, I created Blow-Up Gallery to showcase Dallas based visual artists and later opened Inner.space Projects in 2017. Several artists represented through my galleries appeared and were collected by such institutions as The Dallas Contemporary, The Nasher Sculpture Center and The Dallas Museum of Art. I also work as a special projects curator and artist. Some of my work has included curating DMAHL’s historical photography exhibit, Musica! for The Latino Cultural Center in 2017, and working as the Media Director for the Deep Ellum 100’s Sounds of Deep Ellum, released in July of 2023. Sounds of Deep Ellum won The Dallas Observer’s Best Of for 2023, in the category of “Best Local Compilation.” My freelance endeavors have included art productions for Crow Holdings, Neiman Marcus, Southern Methodist University, Nation Star Home Mortgage, John Varvatos and Dallas Vintage Toys. I am a longtime resident of Deep Ellum, and contribute written works to The Dallas Observer, Alternative Press, Grapevine Today and Lonesound Magazine. My work and cultural projects have been featured and covered by The Dallas Morning News, The Dallas Observer, D Magazine, Patron Magazine and on WFAA. I am currently pursuing a Masters Degree at The University of Texas at Dallas in the field of Humanities. I enjoy writing, recording and occasionally touring with my neo-grunge music group Aztec Milk Temple (Idol Records)
