Over the past 25 years, Scott has held various positions facilitating business development and management. His responsibilities include preparing quarterly and annual board reports, conducting board meetings, managing business financials, overseeing operations, driving process improvement, leading a legal team and risk management, directing human resources and technology and development divisions, and overseeing marketing and sales management. Scott is experienced in benefit industry mergers and acquisitions and has led nine transactions in his career. Today, Scott is a Vice President at Desert Mutual Benefits Administrator (DMBA) in Salt Lake City, Utah. DMBA administers large health insurance plans, defined benefit and defined contribution retirement plans, and other ERISA and Non-ERISA benefits. Before DMBA, Scott served as Senior Vice President and interim Chief Executive Officer at National Benefit Services, LLC (NBS) in West Jordan, Utah. NBS provides outsourced compliance administration services for thousands of employer savings and retirement plans, flexible benefit plans, Health Savings Accounts, and COBRA administration.
