About Scott Delaney

I value intellectual curiosity. I excel at problem solving. These core elements drive the outcomes that have in-turn driven demand for my contributions across multiple industries. Equally at home in the boardroom or on a construction site, I have a proven track record of developing high performance teams, improving operations and creating additional revenue streams, even in the most challenging of market conditions. What started as a childhood desire to build forts turned into a successful executive path with one of the largest, most prestigious homebuilding companies in the U.S. When the homebuilding market softened I found a way to spur growth through nontraditional supply chain efforts to make new homes less expensive to build. I also drove demand in the downturn by making new homes less expensive to live in through the creation of a third-party ownership solar program for new homes. When that program became so successful we needed more capital, I went to Wall Street to get it. That fateful trip would end up launching a new phase of my career outside of the homebuilding industry, developing clean energy projects all over the world for one of the best global brands in the banking industry. That work later expanded to include other disruptive energy projects like the development of the first virtual natural gas pipeline. In addition to playing a role in developing non-traditional revenue sources, I’ve also played a key role in selling them or turning them into stand-alone companies. Shepherding the PFMG Solar brand and its strong platform into new hands with an institutional utility has been one of the highlights of late.My body of work has taken me all over the planet and connected me with the best and brightest in many industries. Everyday I go to work knowing that there is more to be seen & done, more opportunities to be captured, more potential to be realized… and I can’t wait for it.
