From my early days of colour management to high-end post-production I then picked up a real passion for photography and the aesthetic of an image before enjoying the learning curve of 3D motion design.I still get excited by being the creator of visual stories so whether its shot or digitally created within CGI I want to be able to use my creative experience to deliver great content.
Listed skills include Image Manipulation, Photoshop, Post Production, Creative Direction, and 13 others.

This coincided with my passion and love for composition and the aesthetic finish of an image.Photography has become a big part of my everyday life, and I’m proud of the portfolio I have built up over the years. From covering different themes of light and dark, to exploring places & working on a variety of our projects.
Md / Head Retoucher
This was my company founded for my contractual engagements working for some of the leading production facilities & agencies in London. My main role was that of Creative Retouching at a senior level taking my skill set to support facilities to accommodate clients projects & deadlines, this consisted of having small to long term contracts and also working for some retained clients at my London based studio.I managed to build up a very strong portfolio of projects from Retouching and my hobby at the time which was website design & development using Flash, HTML & CSS.This was an eye opening and very enjoyable experience in the basics of running your own business from sales & marketing, project management, client liaison through to invoicing & credit control.
Retouching Manager
I was approached to head up and develop an ever-growing Automotive Retouching department of this well known & respected post production company, following my knowledge gained over the previous 5 years in Creative Retouching and integration of CGI.My role was to use my experience of creativity, colour, retouching and CGI integration to manage a team of artists and create a production pipeline to handle the production of high quality, high volume automotive still deliveries for manufacturers for above the line, full & accessory brochures, online and mobile platforms. This role helped me gain valuable experience working with clients direct, working with and managing highly skilled creatives, pushing my knowledge of the technology platforms and understanding more of the CGI creation and what it takes to get the best solution to deliver the best result.
Senior Retoucher
Following on with my progression of Creative Retouching I joined This Little Fish, a Post Production facility where I developed my skill set further in retouching complex multipart compositions while learning to integrate & understand the CGI render passes into final print deliveries. My role evolved into managing the Retouching department for all projects from estimation timings, resource management, delivery deadlines as well production pipelines to deliver the projects on time and to to the highest quality in an ever evolving industry.I was fortunate to be involved across all levels of projects for both photographic and CGI based delivery formats for a number of photographers, advertising campaigns/clients as well as some leading automotive manufacturers.
Senior Retoucher
This was a small company where I gained a lot more hands on experience, I used all of the latest versions of software including Adobe Photoshop CS, Adobe Illustrator CS, Quark Xpress 6.5, Flash MX, Dreamweaver MX and many more.My roles when starting out was that of managing the work, involving all aspects of the pre-press trade, including Drum Scanning, Colour Conversions using ICC Profiling, Page Make-up, Digital Proofing as well as answering the telephone and dealing directly with clients which has helped me gain a wide knowledge of what clients are looking for. I also learned Web Design and Data Management and have a basic knowledge of accounting doing invoicing and money chasing.Later on I then mainly focused in using my knowledge of colour management and Photoshop to develop my Creative Retouching skills and while working for some of the leading brands and agencies I was able to build a good skill and experience to create up a healthy portfolio.
Colour Specialist
When Mullis Morgan Group Plc bought out Tapestry, I moved over to Tapestry MM, which was one of the leading pre-press companies in London, predominantly dealing with top quality publication and agency work.My role was that of Colour Specialist, which involves extensive use of Photoshop mainly using ICC Profiling, converting from RGB to CMYK colour spaces to be used for all publication specification i.e. newspapers and magazines. Retouching, cut-outs, using Quark Xpress 4.0 doing page make-up. Outputing to film and digital cromalin were also part of my advance learning. I am very confident in my ability to deal with various types of work, and also working to very tight deadlines as I have been doing this for several years now.
Apprentice
I started as an apprentice/trainee involved in all the major work at a repro firm. I did Hand Planning, Analogue and Digital Proofing, Shooting artworks on a camera, as well as making lots of tea and going to the shops.I have since found all these things have served me in great sted for what I am doing today. In mid 1998 started my training in the Scanning department, scanning and colour applying. Gradually moving onto more involved work like working with ICC Profiling, Colour adjusting, masks and retouching in Photoshop.
